In-Person Workshops/Trainings

This is by far the most popular and effective format for attendees to learn techniques to help stabilize a person experiencing an acute psychotic episode. Audience members analyze photos and a video of me in acute psychosis to see first hand the symptoms of an individual experiencing psychotic features.

In addition to the presentation, participants can take part in group activities and role plays.

Virtual Guest Speaker/Presentation/Training

Virtual trainings work very well if distance is a consideration. Using the platform of your choice, I conduct training activities, including live interactive components that feature photos and video of me experiencing acute psychosis.

Plenty of time is set aside for and questions and discussion among participants.

Podcasts/Phone Interviews/Consultations

I am available for podcasts, and individual or group telephone interviews or consultations. Topics can range from my personal story to specific techniques that are beneficial to crisis intervention teams when responding to a call.
